For the last few years, Geri and her company, Ventureneer, has researched, written, educated, and advocated about the challenges and successes women face in the entrepreneurial business world. Clients have included American Express, Dell, IFundWomen, QuickBooks, Northwestern Mutual, NYC Small Business Services, the National Women's Business Council, and Worthy Financial. Her company co-produces the American Express State of Women-Owned Businesses, which is one of the most often quoted research reports on women entrepreneurs.

Geri is best known as a contributor for Forbes, where she writes about women entrepreneurs' success factors. She is a WE NYC mentor and advisory council member of Million Dollar Women, Aleria Research, and Sprial5. For eight years, she was a board member for the New York City Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners.
