Nicole Cober is a founder, a principal managing partner, an author, a media influencer, and an advocate for women’s empowerment and small business growth. With over 25 years of experience in legal and business consulting, she leads Cober Johnson and Romney (CJR), a multi-million dollar firm that delivers strategic planning, training, and project management to clients in the public and private sectors. She is also the founder of The BOW Collective, a group of over 300 black women businesses that generate over 1.7B dollars annually and collaborate to scale their ventures through contracts and capital. Additionally, Nicole was appointed to the National Women’s Business Council, which advises the White House, Congress and the US Small Business Administration on policy related to women in business.

Nicole is passionate about sharing her insights and advice with diverse audiences and platforms. She has been a TEDx speaker, a SCORE mentor, an Emerging Leaders instructor, and a guest lecturer at prestigious institutions such as Harvard Business School, Georgetown University, and the U.S. Commerce Department. She was also a regular contributor and analyst for Fox 5 DC, NewsChannel 8, American Express OPEN Forum, Black Enterprise, and Citibank’s Women and Co. Nicole has been recognized as an Enterprising Women Award recipient and received the Star of the Bar from the Women’s Bar Association DC. Nicole’s mission is to inspire, educate, and empower others to achieve personal and professional success.
