Jessica Karamoutsos lives in Richmond, Virginia with her husband Kyriakos and their three children Apostolos, Alekos and Vaia. She was born and raised in Upstate NY. She attended The Ohio State University and received a Bachelor of Science in Education, Sport Leadership and Humanities; all while playing field hockey for the Buckeyes. She received her Master of Science, Recreation, Parks and Sport Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University. She joined Bank of America in 2008 as a part time teller, while completing an internship with the Virginia State Golf Association Foundation. She spent three additional years as a Sales & Marketing Manager for Independence Golf Club, a high end public golf course and soon found her way back to Bank of America in 2011, in a client facing role supporting small business owners with the opportunity to accept credit and debit card payments for their respective goods or services. Over the course of the last 14 years, Jessica has held a variety of leadership roles, including leading a team of Merchant Consultants supporting clients and partners over the phone, in addition to a Sales Performance role focused on execution nationwide; and most recently a National Performance Manager that drives performance in partnership with the Senior Leadership Team of 300+ associates and 25 leaders. She is a key business partner for many national initiatives and enjoys operationalizing key contributing councils designed to meet the needs of the workforce, ensuring Bank of America remains a great place to work. Like her early childhood years, everything she loves most and how she approaches leadership today was learned through sports. The ability to consult with a client or lead a team, shares a common focus on the importance of trust. Building credibility through listening and asking thoughtful questions that cause long term positive impact for a prospective Bank of America clients is paramount. The payments landscape is ever changing due to the latest technology and consumer behaviors. Jessica is at the forefront of the Payments evolution.
